The K-W-L Newsletter

K-W-L is a popular instructional strategy in which we ask students to state what they already KNOW about a topic, what they WANT TO KNOW, and after a lesson, what they LEARNED.

​

Using this construct, but with some poetic license, my newsletter offers readers:

​

  • Knowledge that I have gained that week - something that I have read, heard on a podcast or learned from one of my many teachers and mentors.

​

  • What I am thinking about - part journal, part think-tank and part conversation - it is where I share my thinking and engage with my readership.

​

  • What I am liking - I am a tech-nerd, desk-setup geek, avid cook, gadget collector and appreciator of nice things - This is where I tell you what I am into at the moment.
